The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) on Monday rejected the misleading impression being created through a post, circulating on social media platforms, which release outdated Ramadan gas availability timings for Karachi.
On its Facebook post, the gas company said: "An old SSGC social media post from last year is circulating on platforms about gas availability timings during the last year's Ramadan, which is no longer applicable.
SSGC further added: "Please note that the updated new schedule for this Ramadan (1447 Hijri) will be circulated this week, before the first day of fasting.
"Karachiites are advised to check official channels in case of any updates during Ramadan 2026."
Ramadan 2026 Pakistan date
In Pakistan, Ramadan 2026 is expected to start from Thursday, February 19; however, the exact official date is subject to the sighting of the crescent moon by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
