Ramadan passport office timing announced in Pakistan

The federal government has announced an updated Ramadan passport office timings, along with the updated fee details, which can also be paid through digital banks.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif-led government, in an official statement, said that the new schedule will apply to Regional Passport Offices, Executive, and Passport Processing Counters.

Latest passport office timings

Under the notification, token issuance and working hours — for the general public — from Monday to Thursday will be from 9am to 2pm, while office working hours will remain from 8:30am to 4:30pm. 

Meanwhile, on Friday, token issuance and public service will be from 9am to 12:30pm, while passport office working time will remain from 8:30am to 4:30pm. 

However, Ramadan passport office timings are not applicable to RPO G-10/4 Islamabad, RPO Garden Town Lahore, RPO Awami Markaz Karachi and NADRA Mega Centres.

Passport fee in Pakistan 2026

The federal government has revealed updated passport fee, which is: 

  1. Five-year validity (36 Pages): Normal Rs4,500 and urgent Rs7,500
  2. 10-year validity (36 Pages): Normal Rs6,700 and urgent Rs11,200
  3. 10-year validity (100 Pages): Normal 13,500 and urgent Rs27,000

Applicant can easily pay passport fee digitally using the 'Passport Fee Asaan' app or web portal, which generates a 17-digit Payment Slip ID (PSID) for payment via 1-Link member bank branches, ATMs, internet banking, or apps like JazzCash/Easypaisa.
