The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) on Saturday announced that citizens can easily apply for all facilities through the PakID mobile application.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the authority stated: "The wait is over, all facilities are now online. Whether it is modification or renewal of identity card, get all Nadra services from home.
"Submit your application today from the PakID mobile app and receive your ID card from your home or the nearest Nadra centre."
Pakistanis can easily further information from the official website of Nadra or contact on the helpline number '1777'.
Earlier on Wednesday, February 4, Nadra announced parents will now get SMS upon the birth of a child, which will remind them to register for birth certificate.
The authority stated: "Within 30 days of the birth of the child, first register it with the relevant Union Council (UC) and then get a B form from the Nadra office or use the Pak-ID app.
"Citizens can easily use Pak-ID mobile app for the ID-related services from the comfort of their home, without visiting any Nadra centre and standing in long queues for their turn."
