To improve public safety and modernise law enforcement, the Lahore Police have implemented a state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence (AI) system that can anticipate crimes and expedite response processes.
Punjab Emergency AI software, a state-of-the-art tool created to detect possible crime hotspots, theft, and accidents, has been released by the Punjab Safe City Authority (PSCA).
DIG Operations Faisal Kamran asserts that "the modern AI system will help in smart policing, which will bring innovation in the working of Lahore Police."
Through this strategic initiative, patrol plans will be more effective, allowing police to react to new situations quickly and effectively.
By analysing data to predict crimes, the AI-powered system will enable the Lahore Police to take preventative action and stop incidents before they happen.
It is anticipated that this proactive strategy will greatly improve the force's capacity to uphold law and order, making Lahore a safer place for its citizens.
The Lahore Police stand to transform their approaches to combating crime by utilising artificial intelligence, ushering in a new era of law enforcement in the city.
